Howdy All
I am trying to find publications by Stephen L. Peele (Fmrc) . "THE GOLDEN DOORKNOB" in particular. I understand that he has retired but there must be a source of books out there somewhere. Am just beginning the search for mushroom knowledge.

It appears to be a boutique book, likely self published. It was from the Florida Mycology Research Center. Their web site is apparently now defunct and a grave robber now owns it. Stephen L Peele himself appears to be in his mid 70's and my guess is he's now retired. If I search a bit more when I get some more time, I might be able to find it on PDF. Remind me.

Steve was a good friend of mine. He recenrly passed away aged 74. He was a great guy who loved studying mushrooms and was probably the most interesting fellows Ive ever known.
