Rhyming -

Post by Flapjack » Thu Aug 26, 2010 1:20 pm

Does anyone else find themselvs rhyming sentences together in casual conversation more and more frequently? Most of the time I'm not really aware of it so I even asked somebody who just met me last saturday, "When I talk do things just start rhyming?" And she was like, "Yeah... did that rhyme?"

No it doesn't rhyme, but it almost sounded like it did.

I was doing this pretty bad on saturday. There's words that don't even actually rhyme, but end up rhyming anyway. Like "Anything" and "Fun" do not rhyme, but "Anythun" and "Fun" do rhyme.

It's crazy, I was doing this enough on saturday that it was noticeable. And it was completely unconciously done.

If it was noticeable how could it be unconsciously done? To notice it is to be conscious of it...that rules out mkultra and you being an unwitting carrier for CIA intelligence at least. :)

I think rhythm comes from the heart. Music...the same thing. Maybe you just found the beat man.

I have noticed that what I say rhymes a lot when i trip, as well as punning and synchronicity. And it makes you laugh out loud and giggle.

It is noticeable that magic such as in 'witch's' spells rhyme.

We are all living poetry :)

hmmm... the beat. Maybe I am in the process of finding this beat. I freestyle rapped a few times and I didn't even know that I could... I am certain that I can't, but every so often it seems like I can...

musn't force it.

In either case, I'm not that good at it, but it would be pretty cool to beable to rhyme every single thing that came out of my mouth.

it's weird, I didn't even know that I could sing intill just a few years ago... I wonder what else I can do.

I think that everyone can sing, if they tried. All you have to do is match the notes.

To sing well takes practice and training for sure. To hit the key/note right on and in time......... Life is poetry, don't ya just love it, or hate it at times? Some times its a fucking night mare. Extreme's........

You lift me up, so high
You lift me up to higher ground
You lift me up so high, high, high, high, high..
That I never want to come back down.

Can't remember who sang this little tune, from the foggy past but I loved it.

Anyone know?

I think I've accidently trained my brain to find words that rhyme when completing sentences or phrases.
