The big problem in Canada is not farming hemp, it's processing it. No infrastructure, and no political will. Now that we have the brownshirts in power, it won't happen anytime soon.

I am a narc. I hang around boards like this, and try to get the goods on dirty drug dealers. And now, I need a new job.

Alice, what are you researching?

If you are awarded your PhD you should join a university faculty, then start doing some serious research. You might even get some decent funding! :)

dummdidumm...

@erocx: that´s nearly impossible... at least during work *haha*... E.g. to synthesize LSD you need alot of stuff, cause you need to exclude air/oxygene from your synthesis. Also, all the precursors you need for most of some drugs like LSD, PCP, Meth, XTC... etc. etc. are controlled by special authorities.
So you have to start from zero i guess and that´s very time consuming and long winded.

finally: not every chemist is an organic chemist ;)
organic chemistry is rather boring cause you´re in the lab synthesizing new substances... You don´t know really why and how a reaction occurs on the molecular level...

Shulgin is the man
