Thirty Minutes or Less

Crazy movie! Partially based upon a real situation, but the makers deny this, likely for legal reasons.

The movie and real story are of course pretty different, including the outcome and I'm sure the details.

Perhaps not quite in step with the above selections, but I was very pleased to recently make my reaquaintence with the Hayao Miyazaki classic "Spirited Away"

Saw Herald and Kumar's new movie recently, decent, fun time, but nothing too great.
Never had seen a 3d movie before.

spirited away is a good movie, I watched some weird movie called Mind Game, and it pretty much blew my mind if you can stand reading subtitles. I thought it was good.

A real disturbing movie is "The Human Centipede" and " the Human Centipede 2" is even more disturbing.I love disturbing movies.another real good movie is the re-make of the old 1978 movie of the same name "I Spit On Your Grave".gosh I've been with a broken ankle with a cast for the past two months and all I did was watch movies. I think I watched 95 movies in two months and I can't think of more right now.OK here's a good action movie "Cat Run " from 2011.Jason Statham, that british tough guy looking actor, has a lot of movies that are pretty kick ass.
I used to have a signature but now I don't for the moment

'Ms Bala' is a Spanish film I recommend if you like gritty crime drama type movies or if you like something like 'No Country for Old Men'.

The movie is not for the faint of heart as it can be disturbing.

What I like about it, is that it seems pretty true to live based upon what I've read about the Mexico / US border region and all the problems of drug smuggling and related issues down there.

Not a feel good movie so far, but it's viewing something from a different perspective which a good movie maker can do.
