Make rum?

Can anyone tell me how to make rum?

I imagine it's much like other distilled drinks. I believe it uses molasses to ferment, then once the specific gravity reading is the same for several days, it is distilled. As to the aging and flavoring processes, I don't believe it to be aged and I imagine there are a few ways to flavor it.
