Kava Kava and Canadians -

Post by Orlando di Lass » Sun Nov 08, 2009 5:23 pm

After reading this article, it leads me to believe that Kava Kava can still be used in Canada for personal use, just not for retail. Do any vendors send Kava Kava to Canada still? SWIM has yet to try decent Kava Kava.

4 tbsp. in 4 cups water buzzes me purty good!-I don't use it frequently, though, because I always want it to work-I use ice cold water to make mine,I haven't tried warm water.

I heard Canada is easing on the kava ban, because it's been known for years that the liver damage is caused by using leaf as well as root in the pills-Just what I heard, though.

A local health food store here in New Brunswick was selling Kava Kava tea last year but is no longer this year because they said they lost a market of customers for its sale. They were unfamiliar with any ban on the product.
