Growing salvia from seed

I have finally managed to obtain some seeds and will be planting soon. If anyone here has grown salvia from seed, your advice, tips, and cautionary tales are certainly appreciated. :P :P

Salvia Divinorum seeds are exceptionally rare, if you are not sure of your source then I'm afraid they are fake seeds.

And even if they are certain, they are very difficult to germinate and grown into a full plant.

Years ago there was a nice guy named SeaMac (aka The Lucky Leprechaun) who hand-pollinated S. Divinorum managing to obtain viable seeds (later germinated by Daniel Siebert himself). Unfortunately, his site is no longer online ( http://members.cox.net/sageseeds/ ).

S. Divinorum is easily propagated by cuttings, rooted in water or in soil. I suggest you manage to get a cutting or an already rooted plant.
