Is this beauty the real stuff?

Found this cactus while on reserve service.

Cut a big piece. I'm almost sure it's a Pachanoi but I need more professional perspective on that.

Can you help?

This looks legit to me. Where was the cut taken if you do not mind me asking?

beautiful, a lot of respect for finding it in the wild.

i only worry you took it during 'service' on a 'reserve'

which might just not be legal...

I hope that specimen has been provided concentual vs the other option. I've discovered that the cactus rewards those who nurture it. Those who selfishly take it without regard for ethics or substance will find it gives them the same in return.
One can take, but realize that there is a price one will pay for the actions that have been taken. I've experienced this several times. One cannot escape this.
It gives you what you have given it!

I once walked up to the door of a little house with a HUGE Pedro in the front yard and asked if I could take a "cutting for my wife" and the owner told me he was just about to "prune it" and to help myself. I left with a truck full of 4' cuttings and he said "Thankyou.":)
