Jesus -

Postby Flapjack » Fri Oct 15, 2010 2:14 pm

Would Jesus be similar to a higher self? And that's why I need him to get into heaven? I'm trying to believe in Jesus, but I'm not sure how. I've always just gone straight to God and never really understood how Jesus fit into the picture.

Are there any Christains out there that can explain this to me? I'm honestly interested. Maybe I need to read the bible.

I just downloaded the Holy Bible (King James Version) from kickasstorrents.com lol. wtf? I feel like I'm bootlegging the bible right now.

Is this the right version? How many versions are there?

Hopefully it is an interesting read.

Holy shit it's 1500 pages long! This shits intense.

Right now though I'm gonna smoke and go tan by the pool because I like the way it makes my body look.

"Jesus is the source of our peace." I am not what you would call religious, but agree with this statement. (I ran into it on a poster one day.)

Fact is the man died because he had love for all of his fellow man
and cared to promote peace
justice
and love
in it's most traditional sense.

If you too are interested in being a living example of these things
Jesus is the man to follow.

The best expanation for 'Jesus' I've ever read which makes any sense is by John Marco Allegro in his The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross where Jesus is the sacred mushroom. Ie., making sense of the 'God and/or Word made FLESH'--ie., the mushroom is actual flesh right?

Also this motif (though of course the Christians specifically make out this is a real even that happened in history. Not the shroom part tho lol) is deeply connected with ancient paganism and its beliefs that the sacred mushroom they eat was Dionysos, etc etc, and when they eat 'him' they became possessed by him

Now as well as that, the archetype of Jesus obviously has effect on human Imagination because opeople, including athiests' who have had NDEs reports sometimes they meet a shining loving being they say was Jesus. I have also read this powerful report from someone who had Ayahuasca who also claims to have met Jesus in thier trip and been healed.

If you have any faith you would see that God reads you like a book. And if you have faith you would make....some.... effort to make it a good read. If you have no faith, its just a simple dance all about you.

But who cares...realy.

Jesus?

yeah, but women aren't going to respond to, oh Jesus is really a mushroom and there's a giant fuckin conspiracy you are unaware of opperating your consciousness as I speak.

I'm reading it out of curiousity. Because I've read the tibaten book of the dead, the flower of life, the sound of life and I have the bagavad gita or however its spelled so why the hell haven't I read the bible? Seems sort of retarded that I havn't. It can't be worse than any of those books.

plus the ladies will be impressed by it. Your mom will even like it.

not so much with any of the other books I've listed.
