Myrrh!

Sometimes Syrian Rue(despite how nasty it smells to me) and sometimes good ole diviners sage. :)

Im starting to like Camphor the more I learn about it. Its calming and mildly psychoactive. Its got various medicinal uses. It burns to produce a clean flame that is used in hindu ceromonies to represent consciousness amongst other things. Its even added to food in India for the flavour.

There's a thread on the Other Entheogens section about it somewhere.

I like Nag Champa too as a general house cleanser.

Yeah Nag Champa is a really good one.
On a related topic, I think that most air fresheners and artificial incense are pretty toxic!
Also herbal bundles are a good air freshener, tea tree leaves or eucalyptus are also good potpourri bundles.

Sage is of course the common smudge stick to burn and cleanse the air in the traditional Native American way.

There's tons of different things you can make potpourri from. All kinds of fragrant herbs and spices. Citrus peels. Flowers. Essential oils.

I always use smudge sticks around my house too.
Pulled and kneaded like salt water taffy.

Interconnecting peoploids, like tinker toy ferris wheels, rotating counterclockwise for eternity.

I wish I had proof that Nag Champa was totally organic. Granted they want to keep their mix a secret etc, but I still wish I knew.

I've also heard there's poop in the blend, but I don't really care =0

But any smoke may be bad, but then again, I'd say any natural smoke has to be way healthier than any bathroom air freshener, house freshener, or anything of that sort. Artificial smells are made with Phalytes (sp?) which are a class or hormone disruptors and I'm sure cause other havoc with our bodies and environment.

If you look on www.essenceoftheages.com you can find some of the best incense around. "Mothers" Nag Champa are my all time fav.
