I swear there are two Donald Trumps.

He definitely has a clone.

This is not up for debate.

I feel you. this whole era of politics is extremely frustrating. It has me siding with someone I would not usually side with, only because the alternative is soooo much worse.

Idk. Sometimes what comes out of Trump's mouth is brilliant. Other times, it's insane.

That's why I know for a fact he has a clone.

Nevermind, this sucks. He says China is lying but Germany has pretty close to the same stats. He politicizes the fuck out of everything. If you say something "nasty," you're a democratic "Trump hater." I don't know why it took me so long to see this. Just look at the numbers. We are climbing so fast that the death rate is artificially low. It doubt it will end up being under 100k. We are talking about 40k deaths in a period of 1 month. We are talking about 750,000 new cases in a period of 1 month. There are still roughly 30k new cases per day. And these are just the ones we know about.

I remember being scared but still going to work and the packed grocery stores. Something could have been done then. There's not a good excuse for not doing anything. He just politicized the fuck out of it and turned it into something associated with the democratic party.

Just want to make it clear, I was a trump supporter prior to the coronavirus. At this point in time, I am completely ashamed of my country and our president. He has totally lost my approval.

No sweat. It's all good. Funny thing is I wasn't a trump supporter originally. He grew on me after the election.

Remember It's always about politics on both sides. The left just tries to silence dissenting opinions by making dissent immoral. Think about mass shootings. After every single one of them the left calls for "common sense" gun control. When the right points out that the measures they call for wouldn't have stopped thr shooting and instead advocate for better protection for the venues, left screeches, "stop politicizing tragedy!!!" When greta thunberg goes around spouting contested science as gospel, any criticism no matter how civil or legitimate is called bullying.

What I'd have you consider though is right now we have a battle of narratives. We have a working class narrative, born out 3 decades of job loss, increased competition from imported labor, and stagnant wages, wishing to be left alone by their government, And We have the progressive/social justice narrative pushed by the "educated" elites, champagne socialists, who have little understanding, and an apparent disdain for the working class, despite their constant claims of working class advocacy, born out of economic privilege and high social standing, wishing to dictate morality by force of government. The elites have the media, the working class have trump. He HAS to be aggressive in his own defence because his adversaries are aggressive in their offense.

On a comic note, If trump came out in support of air, the left would hold their breath in protest and suffocate, eliminating his opponents.

His briefing today at least didn't include a montage of him and him repeating how he banned travel coming in from China back in January another million times. It seemed to make sense. If it turns out that a hundred thousand people don't die and the economy miraculously returns to how it was, who wouldn't be on his side? But, I am having doubts.

Regardless, how do you justify politicizing a pandemic and blaming governors instead of taking command of the situation? I live in Maryland and the governor had to go through his wife and get tests from South Korea. Is that not retarded? Are all the governors "Trump haters" that Trump is solely exposing or is Trump not handling the situation as well as he should be?

I also don't think the left would criticize him if he legitimately handled the situation "perfectly," as he said, and he didn't conduct himself like a lunatic, at times. If we had numbers like Germany, I'm sure both parties could give some credit where it is due. However, we don't. I realize we are a bigger country, but our numbers are still horrific. There's no telling how many people are infected here or how many deaths there will be. We have an artificially low death rate right now, due to the fact the 750 thousand people were confirmed infected in just a single month, and the death toll will lag behind the increase in new cases. I'm not democratic or republican, and I think it's a disgrace to make this a political issue.

Here's what is going on. The media is so politicized in this country that networks are trying to fabricate reality to beat the other party's ratings. Both sides are trying to manipulate people through the media to gain power and wealth, and Trump is definitely no exception. Like every other politician, he only cares about winning and staying in power. He will try to distort reality and politicize the news in order to do that.

truer words were never said! It's absolutely absurd how bad it has gotten. It becomes a positive feedback loop. they politically attack so we must politically attack harder, which in turn makes them counter counter attack all the harder yet. Not sure how we stop the avalanche.
