set up 15 seeds of it, under self-made led-light in a clear plastic box with a heating pad below to keep the rather not-so-tropical-temperatures here outside. after 5 weeks 1 kratom seed from 30 and 2 coffea arabica from 15 sprouted, but non of the alpinias yet :(

well I called every other shop in my area and nobody stalked alpinia zerumbet by that name or shell ginger variegated or otherwise so I'm on the hunt for one of those plant shops online that used to sell and ship live plants ... there was this one that had a huge variety of entheogens and I cannot remember the name, all I remember is that they had alot of black and green on the site with a black cat.

My only surviving specimen is (or was - summer seems over) growing very nice, but didn't make it into bloom ...
I guess i will cut some leaves when it's getting to cold and i have to place it indoors. Haven't found much on it's use yet, i'd prefer to eat the leaves raw, they're looking so nice and juicy :)
