Re: Did Bath Salts Turn Man Into Face Eating Zombie?

I'm inclined to think that the effect of "Bath Saltz" is somewhat exaggerated, largely on account of the fact that they've officially and conclusively proven that the Miami Cannibal wasn't on them. The official tox report showed only THC in his system, and that could have been from weeks previously....

Re: Helleborus niger

I plan to learn Greek and start reading the source material that people like Grieve and Culpepper used.

When I have an opportunity to try Hellebore, I'll share the results here. Probably start with making an oil and use it transdermal.

May you find what you seek,
Alice

Re: Helleborus niger

Thank you very much, I'll do further research on the blood pressure effects, I know one of the primary uses of Hellebore is in its cardiac suppression. I hadn't thought of that property as having psychoactive potential, a very interesting idea. Grieve identifies the chemical Helleborin as narcotic a...

Re: Great Depression

Well Biff, the official testing referenced by the FDA found that relatively small doses of sodium laurel sulfate caused depression, and larger doses were lethal (and yet they cleared it for use anyway). Tests I conducted myself (however informally) suggest that ceasing to use SLS laden shampoos ease...

Re: Did Bath Salts Turn Man Into Face Eating Zombie?

First, love that song. The Collide cover of it in the soundtrack for Resident Evil 4 (another story with an Alice, hehe) is even better IMAAO (In My Arrogant Ass Opinion). Second, gotta love Alice In Wonderland in general: "`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked. `Oh, you can't he...

Re: Did Bath Salts Turn Man Into Face Eating Zombie?

Forgive not reading the whole thread. I'm already aware of the story. Just wanted to toss in here that the only foreign chemical in the official toxicology report was THC. He wasn't on Bath Salts or anything else that reasonably could have explained his behaviour. He may not have even been high at t...

Re: This Death Thing

Flapjack I think will know where I'm coming from here. This is all just my belief, my opinion. I might be able to prove some things, but I don't want to, so take it for what it is and disbelieve if you like. I've worked magic most of my life. My interest in entheogens, my path as a poisoner, is part...

Re: Great Depression

An entire post from my blog. Killer Shampoo "No, that's not a joke. Have you ever looked at the ingredients label on your shampoo? It's a toxic nightmare. The major offender is sodium laurel sulphate. Any guesses what it does? It's purpose is to help shampoo foam and help it to coat your hair and pe...

Re: Greetings and Salutations

My apologies. As you say, our site is an organization with non-profit projects, newsletters and community resources that also happens to sell a few things. Honestly, no one's ever bought anything through the website, I make my living entirely by word of mouth right now, it's just a useful way for pe...

Re: Great Depression

The methods of combating depression are innumerable. It's been my experience that life action is by far the most effective. I've encountered people who were diagnosed with clinical depression, ostensibly caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, and were proscribed expensive mood altering drugs. ...
