wellllllll......this patch would be dead without me guarans brah. I grow it in full view, on a big private estate I work at, as an ornamental patch of cool Mexican salvias...you know, RARE ones....check out the cool BLUE flowers.....I have to force folks to PAY ATTENTION to just what the heck it is....

I didn't think it was possible either. Carl(Seamac) inspired me. Hes in San Diego and lost hosting for site, but I will get new address. Its a bit time consuming, hand pollinaitng that is, but seems to help. What REALLY kicks ass is BUGS and BIRDS...hummingbirds in particular......they worked my gar...

yah....its guaranteed....especially if caretaking is an issue ... ..heres a series of shots with layering......plants tend to fall over at about 6 ft, most of my garden does this, so I end up cutting it down each fall, as it falls into areas where I cant water etc.. .In the wild, the plant could mov...

Right On!!! Wait till it opens, hopefully....sometimes they stay closed, and you pollinators are shut out..... you can help it out abit, pollen is viable when white, tiny paintbrush or tool will help. My understanding,( and sampling) , shows the flowers have pretty low levels, if any. smell is awesome though!!! Heres from late October, when they just started flowering.
