Re: trip reports are not to be posted here -

I've been here for a few years and trip reports have always been posted here without a problem. It appears that this is a sudden new rule being imposed. (edit) I guess I missed where someone said no trip reports here? Who said that and when? Wow, no trip reports? So long salvia thread. Is the...

Teotzlcoatl was a misunderstood god. The Pharisees, Philistines and the Philadelphia Phillies crucified him on a hot cross bun. Now he floats free on the bit stream to pee his golden dew on the forum-verse.

Re: Morels: get yourself a handful son... -

Gyromitra was eaten for many years, and it is still eaten by some, said to be also very tasty. The toxins are supposed to be eliminated with heat [good cooking], but it's now classed as deadly poisonous. Not just cooking, but boiling it out. Meaning, boil in a big pot of water, don't fry. But why b...

Welcome to Lothlorien. From what I remember, Tolkien's world had these different tribes of elves. Some were more noble than others, which in his day meant blond haired and blue eyed versus brown haired, sun tans and brown eyes. And had better tailors. But the wood elves had the best morel hunting gr...

steep tea of one kilo Salvia divinorum. I don't know if this will work, but it would be interesting hear the results. Ha haha! Oh my God. Someone will try it, maybe they have and we didn't hear about it because nobody ever heard from the guy again. after thought: I've always thought there might be ...

Re: Discover Magazine Article -

It's been 20 years since I have had any, but the ones that used to make their way to the Atlanta area in the 70s and 80s were never as large as a silver dollar. Maybe the larger ones were kept and used closer to their home and we only got the smaller ones...????? I could understand that!! It's been...

Could be this one? http://discovermagazine.com/2003/feb...searchterm=lsd Great find. Great article, thanks! Question: Are those buttons the guy is holding in his hands a little on the small side? Or would they be considered normal? Seems to me when I used to have dried buttons many years ago, they ...

Apparently I was a bit too...non-specific in my response. I was always told there is a danger that the spores could enter your lungs and, as I pointed out in my previous post, your lungs theoreticaly make a good environment to foster fungal growth... a chilling thought. Reminds me of the cover art ...

Re: Morels: get yourself a handful son... -

Do be careful when you hunt morels, not to pick the brain mushrooms!!! Correct morels can be easy to identify if you know what you're looking for, but I've found a lot of false morels as well - those are toxic I believe. On a side note, I've heard that shaggy manes mushrooms are edible, but mildly ...
