Re: Iboga, familiar to anyone?

It acts on both psychedelic and dissociative receptors. It's action is unique, as is its chemical structure [though Shulgin lists it in TIKHAL among the tryptamines]. Daniel Pinchbeck who discusses it in Breaking Open the Head, told me he considers it a psychedelic [fwiw, tho nowadays many seem to c...

Re: Iboga, familiar to anyone?

Ibogaine is listed in TIKHAL but has a complex chemical structure and is not a typical tryptamine. Pharmacologically it's also complex and is active at both psychedlic and dissociative receptors; its action appears unique. It's schedule 1 in the US, I seem to recall reading that while it's been unsc...

Re: Elemicin the controversial "psychedelic" will be tested -

I've now tried up to 4 ml elemi oil "5x" with milk and soy lecithin, after eating. I get very mild quick [10 min ending 90 min] effects, kind of very mild disorientation or giddiness, strongest at about 20 min. There may be some deepening of color and 3d but far from psychedelic. I may increase dose...

Re: natural pain relievers? -

Kratom is strongest in my experience though nothing compares to phaarmaceutical opiates in analgesic effects; followed by nymphaea sp. [were used medically in WW2 when opiates not available], lactuca [when well prepared, have also tried preparations of this totally ineffective], irvingia gabonesis. ...

Re: NAPE Isolates - N-acyl-ethanolamine phospholipids -

Received 1g oily yellowish NAPE: Myristic Acid [some of the oil had seeped out of the sealed ziplock back and coated the contents of the rest of the order; if this is normal consistency it should be stored in a different kind of container]. Any info on this? Also recommended as w other NAPEs perhaps...

Re: Yarrow - the asprin plant -

Yarrow contains thujone, likely IMO its main active. Thujone bioacculates [though not forever] and in not-super-high concentrations in the body can lead to convulsions so to frequent use may be unwise; treat thujone-containing herbs with caution

Very interesting report! But essential oils tend to be toxic; please exercise caution in exploring high doses, especially as reports indicate no standardization in preparations being sold.

Re: anyone have any experience with Baheda -

Boiled 1.75g [1/16th oz] of the woody breakable chunks for 1/2 hr, then after drinking, microwaved the used chunks in cup water 30 sec and also drank. Unclassifiable alerts at about 10 min guessing were placebo. Other than that didn't notice any psychoactive effects, except talking on the phone seem...
