Re: Jasminum sambac ( Arabian Jasmine ) / Green tea, opinons ? -

Other then its use in eastern medicine as a calming herb, not that I am aware of , its widely considered a holy plant, likely for its beauty and fragrance more then anything. 'psychoactive ' as such, is a very broad term, it may be that it is more physicaly active then psychologicaly, but dividing t...

^ that group of substance is a big cause yes, mostly the anti-histamine commonly used in that group, but in general. Unfortunate aspect of thoes, membranes dont stay moist, and so drink water, still have drymouth in a few minutes. Alot of people are simply dehydrated in general also, and dont know i...

Jasminum sambac ( Arabian Jasmine ) / Green tea, opinons ? -

This is a widely consumed mix I'm aware, So was curious of others opinons / experiences with it. I more or less exclusivly drink green tea for caffeine, so fermilar enough with 'normal ' feel of tea , and I must say, jasmine tea is not normal tea. Now my biology / metabolisim may not be typical so p...

^ yep its a cause of gum disease for sure, I live with it , not from tobacco smoke mostly, but smoking in general has not helped me with it. Its a worthwhile tradeoff though, my teeth will need to be replaced eventually anyways, sooner then most. Dry mouth largely contributes to this, cotton mouth i...

Re: Stephen Hawking says: DON'T TALK TO ALIENS -

As a general rule of thumb, not trusting, or blaring ' we are hear, come exploit us ' to unknown groups of beings with more substantial technology, is advisable, that can also be said about others of our same species. As is now, we have spit enough of our biography out into space, that at some point...

Re: lady/lord/lordy salvia -

I think its a culturaly learned vision, people listen to others describe nature of their salvia experiences, then when their turn comes around, there is already some pre-concieved framework. Similar with other entheogens, spirits and allies can seem usefull, and not be, can seem useless, and can be,...

Re: Smoking is good for you. -

The conclusions are fairly obvious to many people who smoke , and are part of the reason people smoke ( euphoria is another )

Smoking is NOT good for you, nicotine is not either, but its not a evil demon substance destined to own everyone that touches it. And it certinaly has functional benifits.

Re: Damn, Ireland must have some tough durg laws -

That makes alot of friggen sense now dosent it ... ? So rather then making legislation targeting a (percieved ) dangerous substance, just create a blanket one, that essential opens the door to punishment for selling substances, that otherwise are currently allowed. Beer is a legal high, whiskey is a...
